Original use of the Winch System:
Kongsberg Offshore as (KOS) supplied Flow Control Module Running Tool (FCMRT) Lifting Winch (25 Tons) system. The FCMRT Lifting Winch consists of a Winch and control system, HPU, 550 meters of rotation poor lifting Wire complete with Shackle and Swivel, Top Sheave, Deck Sheave, Sheave Tower and interface
Cables and Hoses. The purpose of the FCMRT Lifting Winch is to deploy and retrieve the FCMRT, which is used to install or retrieve the Flow Control Module (FCM). The equipment is located on deck of the rig or vessel, as shown in Figure below.
