FRIGG FIELD CESSATION

THE FRIGG FIELD CESSATION PROJECT

Total E&P Norge AS, in cooperation with Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner, have started the removal of six offshore platforms with pipeline and debris from the giant North Sea Frigg Field. The project will continue the next two years.

The contract on sale and marketing of equipment from this project is given to Quipbrokers AS on exclusive basis.

For the sake of safe dismantling, environmentally friendly disposal and for the sale of equipment, all will be removed from offshore field for onshore handling.


THE PLATFORM MODULES, status

The decommissioning project started with the removal of platforms TCP2 and DP1 jacket in 2005, continued with the removal of MCP01 in 2006. Some equipment from these platforms are still available for sale. Look at schedule below and listing on previous page.

Further equipment coming for sale will be added to list as it is being released.
