The drum is driven by a two speed highpressure hydraulic motor type Bauer HMH9-16,3 ltr/rev.

The drum is controlled by a manouvrevalve of type Danfoss PVG120 with loadsensing signal and electric control.Loadcontrol valve and brake on/off valve.
The drum is equipped with a failsafe disc brake. The failsafe functioned is maintained by a hydraulic accoumolator. The brakedisc is made of stainless steel. The theoretical brake torque is 78000 Nm.
The winch is delivered with a pressure control valve for adjusting the pressure /toque on the winch. A manhole is installed for access inside the drum. The winch is prepared to install swivel. The drum have a passage slot into the inside the drum for fastening/ the cable.
The drum have a manual operated lock bolt. This lockbolt dock into slots on the side of the drum.
The drum sides have slots. There is also two slots radial on the side for easy access to inner ropes.
