Rotary foundation:
The winch with rotary foundation can be lifted as one piece including wire on the drum for quick mobilization to the vessel.
The winch unit can be dismantled from the rotary foundation and sold separately.
Note: The winch can be used without rotary foundation (will reduce footprint and weight very much). Dimensional drawing available..
The winch system was previously used for short time by CHEVRON JACK & ST. MALO PROJECT. Herema Marine Contractors and Oil-States designed and manufactured the Steel Catenary Riser Module. The winch was a part of the SCRM pull-in system that used a 1250 Te SWL chain windlass to pull-in the risers. The winch was used to handle the chains that were used to pull in the risers.
Other applications for this winch can be subsea hoisting winch e.g. in combination with a Marine A-frame, slip winch for a ship yard, tug boat winch, towing winch, pulling winch for construction of cable Stayed bridge, pulling of bridge wire cables etc.
The original HPU is not included (retained by the previous owner), but we might have some alternative HPU's available depending on the pull and lifting speed required.
